Perception
I saw a movie starring Queen Latifah. In this movie her character states “I don’t want to get Daewoo on my hands”. That quote cracked me up!! My then perception of Daewoo is that they were cheap pieces of crap. However a couple years later i’m in the market for a new vehicle. I come across a Suzuki that is so darn cute, it just fits me!! Anywho, i’m cleaning it and have the doors open. Holy cow, guess what one of the stickers says, yup – it says “Daewoo”. I couldn’t believe it! Well I love my car and haven’t had any problems.
Another example: I love Starbucks. I wish I could work there and get paid in coffee! However, some would say that they charge to much and there is one on every corner. This comment is based on someones experience. If I had not already been in love with Starbucks, and heard this one comment – I definitely would not be going there.

I would say most people enjoy a nice cup of joe! The best move, in my opinion, that my local Target did – was install a Starbucks. Because my perception is that Target was a box type store with no personality. However, now its my fave place to shop – and of course get coffee.

Haha, who here knows how long Daewoo was an actual car here in the U.S? I mean we see them all the time, but what I mean is an acutal dealership with the little fan shaped symbol. I was driving and laughed when I saw it. I don’t know, they actually may be a very good vehichle. My laughter was out of they didn’t last long. But they are still around. Not just cars, it’s also other things like TV’s and such. YES, I can’t get enough of my Starbucks, trying to cut back though and save a little. I love their Iced Tea Lemonades and the iced coffee’s. Sadly though I have been making my own coffee and tea at home.

Damn that Daewoo!!!! but your right, you’re car so fits you. You know it’s the same with cadillac and gm. I think it was the Denali or tahoe and the escalades.. same guts but emblams were different and of course the $20,000 to $30,000 price difference. Now target they got smart when they did the Starbucks move. Boy did they get some brownie points there. And you’re right, more shoppers now got to Target rather than wal-mart just because of the coffee cuz as we all know Target is a little more pricey than Wal-mart. I for one have changed from wal-mart to target. I’m just bummed that I don’t have a Starbucks in my local area. I live in a hispanic part of town and you know we mexicans don’t drink much starbucks. LOL!! Yeah unfortunately I only get starbucks when I’m in an area for one. I love it but won’t travel too far for it.
